DOLLSVILLA IN
ROTTERDAM HOSPITAL |

The
DollsVilla supports the professional work of
the Mother and Child Center of the Ikazia
Hospital in Rotterdam. The center works family and
development-oriented. If it is medically
possible, mother and child stay together 24
hours a day. |
|
|
|
All care relating to
[expectant] mothers, newborns and children is bundled
here: the birth center, obstetrics,
neonatology, the pediatric department, gynaecology
and pediatrics outpatient clinics. |
|
|
|

|
|
|
The name Ikazia is an abbreviation of
InterKerkelijke Actie Ziekenhuis in Aanbouw,
a foundation that has long campaigned for
the construction of the hospital in the
1960s. |
|

From April 2022, the DollsVilla will be stationed in the new nursery
and after-school care of Kindergarden Vught, at
the Taalstraat. In a former manufacturer's
house, a Dutch national monument from 1870. |

DOLLSVILLA 21 YEARS! |
|

The villa now plays an important role in
the lives of thousands of children every
day. For pleasure, expression, for
communication, refinement of the motor
skills, processing, interaction, for
role play to express the equality
between women and men, for the language
development, for dreams ... The
DollsVilla by Liliane® can now even be
seen in a Dutch museum. So happy!
